On April 7, the Japanese language group invited Prof. Yu Pengnian, SIA's Honorary President, to give a lecture on the situation in Japan. Over 40 group members attended the lecture. Prof. Yu briefed on the political, economic and social situation in Japan and the views of some new Japanese commentators.
