SIA Holds 2005 Annual Meeting
On February 25, Shanghai Interpreters' Association (SIA) held its 2005 annual meeting at Shanghai Liberation Daily auditorium. SIA President and Director General of Shanghai Municipal Foreign Affairs Office, Yang Guoqiang, Honorary Presidents Sun Zhu, Wang Yifang and Wang Yang, Executive Vice president Sun Xiyuan, Vice presidents Xia Yongfang and Zhang Shukui, and Secretary General Chen Aiguo attended the annual meeting. Vice president Xia Yongfang presided over the meeting. Secretary General Chen Aiguo delivered 2005 SIA's work report and Executive Vice President Sun Xiyuan briefed members on SIA's work in 2006. President Yang Guoqiang spoke at the meeting. Over 400 members attended the annual meeting. |
