On the afternoon of March 21, 2008, SIA invited Yan Anlin, Director of Shanghai Taiwan Research Institute, to give a lecture on the election in Taiwan and the trend of the cross-strait situation. About 150 members attended the lecture and they said that they gained a better understanding of the cross-strait relations.
